This took me way too long to color...I scanned bigger than usual so the program I use was slower than ever. It's not because my PC is slow though...if I use Adobe Photoshop I'm sure everything would run a lot faster. It's just that the program I use doesn't know how to use the resources I'm offering it. It's 6 years old but I've had a good 6 years with it.
The background would've been a lot more spectacular but I realized it would've taken me a couple hours more to complete since my program was going so slow...
I'm gonna work on another thing in a bit. I need to go eat something.
O_o Clothes... that's something you don't see everyday.
Just kidding.
Even if your program was working slow, you've still done a great job. Love the simple shading, but what happened to her eyes? The last time I checked, aren't they supposed to be bigger?
Lack of lines in the background... weird.
Good job, though!

Maybe her eyes are supposed to be bigger...awhile ago. I think I did more proper proportions here...hopefully.
I wanted to make the background shoddy but still at least remotely interesting in its own style since it would've taken me forever to get what I was originally aiming for.
Have a great time everyone and please fav this article so as many people can see the featured works. I would recommend seeing each one and faving them too.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
